People who do have ability and inability

Recently, I come to comprehend something. I deeply feel that if a person wants to have persuasibility, he/she really should have some professional ability instead of having his/her mouth.
Some people who really have ability to do something, they prefer to “do” by themselves; on the contrary, some people who are titular but inability like to “talk” more than “do”, in order to get the feeling that they are superior to others.
However, the respects are always given to the people who really have done something, and they don’t have to say, we can see what they have done. Compare with the others who are inability, they always like to brag about their status or contributions, being afraid that if someone didn’t aware of their deed.
I think I shouldn’t complain about it anymore, because this kind of people would still appear around us over and over again at every moment. What I have to do just to admonish myself against being this kind of people and to keep away from them.

Ha-ha! The delicious food is coming again, are you drooling? Today, I will introduce the most famous repasts in Ann-Ping of Tianan --- shrimps roll (蝦捲). Shrimps roll is handed down by a soldier who came from “Fuchou(福州)” first, our ancestors changed its way of makings and created another snack which have been popular among people until now. They mixed the flesh of fish which had been battered, shrimp, celery(or 高麗菜) and ground-meat into the peritoneum of pigs, deep-fly with heat for about one minute, that is done! You can dip some soya sauce or mustard, it will be more delicious!

The first one is 擔仔麵. When the 擔仔麵 ascends on the State Banquet and receive the applause from the foreigner, then confirms that it’s one of the emblem of Taiwan culture. 擔仔麵 has went the rounds for about 100 years, and the secret that keeps its reputation is the way of its soup; Put the dried shrimp and smoldered with little fire let the soup become more palatable.

Saving Land for Endangered Animals

There is only so much land on the earth, and so what we can do with it is limited.

Mankind’s need for land is constantly growing. If the demand is not checked in some way, humans will eventually develop all of earth’s available land. At that time, mankind will have no more room to grow, and all the wild animals will have disappeared, as well as other valuable resources. Furthermore, endangered animals are an important part of the creatures of our planet. If they disappear, we cannot predict what the effect will be.

To sum up, we really should protect the world’s endangered animals by setting aside some land for them. Although mankind’s need for land continues to grow, people are intelligent enough to put the land they have to better use. In this way, we can have enough land for farming, housing or industry, and preserve the endangered animals at the same time.

I was so happy for them

I have seen Friends for a long time, tonight, I saw the episode 1009, and I was really happy for Monica and Chandler, they went to Ohio to visit with a mother about adopting her babies. The mother accidentally confused Monica and Chandler as a Reverend and a doctor, and she thought they were the most appropriate persons for the baby’s parents. After meeting with the mother, Monica didn’t feel any inappropriate about being mistaken, but Chandler thought it was necessary for the mom to know who the baby’s parents are after all, so they decided to tell the truth to the mother. Of course, the mother was very angry about their lie, and she even didn’t want give her baby to them. Monica was so sad, and Chandler went to run after the mother and showed his sincere, he told the mother, they really like children, and it even kill him that he couldn’t give Monica a baby….Finally, the mother was touched and agreed to give them the right to adoption her baby. Monica and Chandler hug each other and they were in tears. On the other hand, I was in tears too.

I would like to keep on writing in blog

Dear Chris, first of all, I would like to thank you for looking over all of our blogs, and second, thank you for giving us the third times to redeem our grades.
I know I didn’t write enough to get the good grades at first time, but I will do my best to write enough this time. I really appreciate you to give me the opportunity to average the grades.
Actually, I think you are a good teacher. I am not fawning on you, really. Maybe we didn’t like your classes before, but in fact, I really admire your change, you have really given much thought to the class, and you are changeable and flexible, just hope we can really learn more on classes. I was so touched about this. I have some suggestions that you can take as the references, maybe you can try to walk around in front of classroom, then students would have the sense that you are teaching, so they will not fall asleep easily. In addition, maybe you can try to have conversations with students, not just talk with “computer”, and the students may feel that they participate in the class.

Helicopter Parents

I think this article does really make sense. Nowadays, there are too many parents who have spoiled their children too over. The starting point is care about their children, but how about the children’s future? A lot of parents ask their children to be perfect which exist on the parents mind. It cause many children have become early-maturing overly. However these children can not enjoy their growth happily.

We can learn not only knowledge but also the way of getting along with people from school, and it is the real purpose we expect. Parents interfere children’s study and life unduly makes children become dependent. For instance, there are a lot of people who have twenty to thirty years old, and they have acquired a specialty from study. But they still can not have a successful career, because they are dependent on their parents. I think these kinds of parents who are unable to say no to children of help are the one of the “helicopter parents”

Parents should learn how to help children do things by proper way not just ask children to be the first place all the time. Let children find their future by themselves. They will more appreciate the parents.

Happy Birthday to me ^^

Yesterday was my birthday, thanks all my friends. How sweet you are! I was so touched.
I received many presents including a pretty wrist lace inlayed “Love” on it, which is got from phoenix, and a delicate glove compartment from Joanne, and M&M chocolate from Frida and Angel, and two pieces of cake from Samantha, but one of the cakes was eaten by half, Samantha said that if both of us ate half of this cake, our friendship will not be separate forever. She is right. We will be friends forever. In addition, my honey took me to buy some “special” presents and we had a great dinner. As we were going back to dormitory, my honey suddenly took out a birthday card, and told me to open it. It was made by hand, and he said he spent about two days to finish, it is the unique birthday card in the world, just for me. He wrote some touched sentences, and the most special part was that he put a lot of pictures which was full of our memories around these sentences. It reminded me a lot of things between us during these 318 days. I couldn’t help but cry because of being touched.
That night, Samantha and my honey and I went to KTV to celebrate my birthday. We stayed there from 12:00am ~ 6:00am, and we kept singing and dancing and eating until we all fell asleep. It was hard to come by and had a spree like that. We all had a great time.

It is very discrepant

As I mentioned, I have a part time job at cram school, but recently, I am thinking about how to balance my efficiency and conscience about this job.

The problem is that I have to do too many things in one hour. I have to teach students vocabularies, give them a quiz, and explain the questions the students don’t understand in exercise paper. Otherwise I have to keep them in order. It is not difficult for me, of course, but it really has taken me too much time within an hour. However, what I really want to do is teach them more correlatable usages about vocabularies which they just learned, like some equivalents or phrases about the vocabularies, but it always not enough time. How should I do, they only have less than a year to prepare their entrance examination for senior high school. How can I give up their future just because of the limitation of time? It is really a discrepant situation struggled in my mind. How should I do?

I really don’t like the way she talks to us

I know you are the person charging the group members of public relations official, but I really don’t like the attitude you talk to us, why can’t you be more polite instead of just keeping ordering, ordering and ordering, the tones of your speaking are sounded very uncomfortable to us. We are your group members, not your employees; we can accept your instructions, not your orders.

In addition, we not only have to develop our interpersonal relationship, but also have to broaden the view of the world. The following is about the reason for why students shouldn’t study only subjects in their majors.
Nowadays, the colleges that require students to take classes in many subjects are better than which require students to specialize in the one subject. It is because that will help students who are well versed in many subjects and cultures become well – rounded individuals. We all know that “Knowledge is infinite”. There are still many different kinds of fields of knowledge beyond the subjects we have learned, and those are useful for us as well. If we can learn a variety of them, that will be a superiority for us to find a good job. In addition, today’s world people often change careers during their lifetime. If a student is only knowledgeable about one specialty it might become difficult to switch careers later on. In today’s society, we have to hold the diploma in one hand, and keep different types of skills in the other hand, so we can become more competitive in the society.
On the other side, it is not enough to just be familiar with your own field of specialty. For example, in today’s business environment, it is very likely that we will encounter people from different cultures. One of the main reasons for taking classes in many subjects is to learn about different cultures and peoples. Students that only know about their own field of specialty might be totally ignorant of the culture of their coworkers or business partners. To learn manifold subjects in college may help students to touch the different kinds of schoolmates and to further the development of interpersonal relationship, it will be a thrust of promotion in workplace in the future.
If we choose a variety of subjects to study, we may find out the interests or talents gradually, then we can develop what we are specialized. In this way, we can also broaden our world outlook and receive all kinds of knowledge from these courses. For example, I am major in applied foreign languages, but I also take the business course. In this course, I’ve learned what economic tendency Taiwan has been and toward to, and what kind of tactic a company manager is used to make. This information all make me gain my aspects of globalization.
I think it is important to have a specialty in college. However, it is even more important for students to have a broad understanding of many subjects and the world we live in. this way students will be able to leave the college as a well – rounded individual and to be a person of multiple abilities.

The way I relieve the pressure

Living in a busy, changeable, and highly competitive society, pressures are very closely associated with us. It can be caused from job, family, interpersonal relationship etc. But how to definite the “stress”? Is all that negative? And how to reduce our pressures? As my experience, I have three ways to relax myself. I will use some specific details and example to explain it.
First, I would write something bother me on my journal book, that can help me find the origin of stresses. The journal book is just like my close friend, and she always can listen to me quietly and make me express my thoughts and emotion. After I have calmed down later, I would review what I had written, and try to change my thoughts into other sides, it always can help me figure out the solution easily.
Secondly, go shopping is one of the good way to reduce the pressures. There is a practical research has found out that most of people feel they have heavy pressures because of their discontent and desire, including the accomplishment, appearance, or life style. I think spend money appropriately to satisfy our external requirement is essential, and it can make us feel more confidence and pacify our discontent.
The last but not least, I would choose to “sleep”, so that I can leave the factors of troubles and noisy. When we sleep deeply, the body and brain will get into a period of taking rest and relaxing. After a adequate sleeping, we will have sufficient motivation and energy to continue facing the pressures.
Pressure is omnipresent. It just like a snowball, can be bigger and bigger. We should realize the causes of the pressures completely and manage our emotion well. On one hand, it can avoid the psychological disease; on the other hand, we can turn the pressures into the encouragement and experiences in our life. To strive against the stresses completely, the stresses will make us grow up.

The first day as a teacher

Today was my first day I working at the “Good Idea” cram school which I mentioned before, it was not so difficult as my imagination. On the contrary, I thought I could control the situations in hand.

The first hour 7:00pm~8:00pm was the third grade students’ time, I taught them vocabularies. The head-teacher told me that I just have to read the words and they followed me to recite. Then I would give them about time minutes and after that there would have a quiz about the vocabularies they just learned. And the rest time, I just had to send out the exercise papers to them, and taught them the questions they didn’t understand until eight o’clock. And the following an hour, I had to keep an eye on three second grade students until they finished their homework. That was my all work in the cram school.

Dancing Performance for Association of Four Dancing Club

Ha Ha, it is the day, the Dancing Performance for Association of Four Dancing Club(四社聯合舞展)I am so exciting and nervous, because I’ve waited long time. As I’ve mentioned, my toe had the arthritis, fortunately, it had got better in time, and so I still can step on stage for dancing. ^^
Everything has to go perfectly. I made up my hair style at hair salon last night, so I couldn’t sleep well. I got up at 7:00 am and prepared my dancing dressing and I had show up to make up in club office at 9:00am. All of members were busy, and we spent about 3 hours to finish our make-up and dresses, it was really a great classic.
Our show was start at 12:25pm, every member was so excited and nervous, it was our first show, and we had to be the best. Before that, we never forgot to take pictures to keep as a souvenir.
When the music was broadcasted, we appeared on the platform one by one. Everything was fine unless I stepped some wrong step…, but it was ok, we finally finished our performance. And we got the big applause which has become the best encouragement to us. It will become the most unforgettable experience I have.

張懸's concert

There was a concert in our school today, the singer was 張懸. It started at 7:00, my honey and I took part in it after dinner.

Actually, it was not only a concert, but also a lecture about 張懸's career of music. She talked about how she encountered with music, how she got along well with music, and how she made through the period of frustration. I found out that she is a convinced person, and her talking was very substantial in content. In addition, she mentioned the relationship between the society and the influence of music, and she even talked about her thoughts about the politics. She was very frank about her thinking and opinions even though her father is a politician --- the head-secretary of the foundation of channel communication.

I think I like her. She has not only the good singing voices but also the good personalities. Also, she is very humble, and value what she possesses. I think she is succeeded in her life.

Night market in Tainan ^^

Since I came back to Tainan last time, I haven’t been there for about five weeks. I really miss my hometown, miss my mom.

Every time I come back, I want to taste all of delicious food in Tainan. Of course, night market is the best destination we would go. This week, we went to the “Garden night market” In there, you can eat all kinds of exotic food that you would never tire of. What you can think about, it could be found in night market. For example: 印度拉茶,印度烤餅, they were made from India. And if you want to eat something from Japan, you can eat 章魚燒and銅鑼燒. Or if you want to try something from China, you can find some barbecue and roast. Otherwise, you still can find some aboriginal food or Taiwan delicacies --- 蚵仔煎and so on…

After eating and drinking to content, it’s time to go shopping! In night market, you can find all kinds of cheap stuffs, clothes, pants, shoes and any gadgets. But remember you have to take enough money with you, because you might wipe put all of your money easily.

I had a plentiful harvest again in night market, I was satisfied. But, I have expected the next trip of night market in Tainan!

My foot is in dreadful condition

The dancing performance is getting closer and closer, I have to practice it more frequent. However, I have to dress high heel shoes to dance, it causes my foot get in dreadful condition, and they keep badly hurt, even when I walk as usual. Finally, I consulted a doctor what’s going on with my foot, and the doctor said there was the arthritis on my toe, I had to take a rest for some days and had better not to walk too often, by the way, I had to massage my toe every day.

But the dancing performance is going to coming, and all I can do just sit there looking at the others who practice hard. It is still not certain whether my toe will get well or not before the date of performance, what’s a pity if I couldn’t on stage since I’ve practiced hard for a long time! I hope my toe can get well as soon as possible.ˊˋ

The movie “Lust, Caution(色，戒)”

Thank Jaisy for taking us to see the famous movie “Lust, Caution(色，戒)”.I was really touched by this movie.
It happened in China during 1938, a group of patriotic youth wanted to murder a leader of traitors---Mr. Yee, they decided to put on a play and close to him. Thus, a pretty girl in this group --- 王佳芝played a role as Mr. Yee’s mistress and tried to entice him by her beauty in order to acquire his trust then killed him secretly.They got a long well through a long time, and Mr. Yee loved her deeply and even bought an expensive diamond to her, 王佳芝thought she just played a role as a mistress, and she didn’t really love Mr. Yee. Until one day, 王佳芝and the group had planned to killed Mr. Yee while they went to a jewelry store. However, 王佳芝 suddenly understood that she had fallen in love with Mr. Yee when she saw the truly heart and deep love from Mr. Yee’s eyes, she also found that she didn’t want Mr. Yee died. Nevertheless, she knew that the play should have an ending eventually, and the sacrifice must be herself.

Interview for a new job

Today, Samantha and I found a notice at bulletin board posted by a cram school. They wanted English TA, so we decided to take a look.

We made an appointment with the head-teacher of the class at 6:30p.m, actually, we were very nervous, and we thought it must be a formal interview. However, it was a smooth going beyond our expectations. The head-teacher just asked us some questions about certificates and experiences, and then she asked us to demonstrate the way we teach students, after that, she told us we can start to teach next week. How easily we got a job there, but the salary just 100NT per hour, it was not very satisfying but it was barely enough, after all, the work is very free and easy.

My work time is 6:00pm~8:00pm on Tuesday, and my students are third grade and second grade at junior high school. Actually, I am not good at taking children in hand, and I hope I can get alone well with those students.

Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.
In my opinion, I prefer to travel by myself. Since the cultures and the social customs, most of the youngsters in the European and American countries would travel by mapping out their own routes. Generally speaking, traveling by oneself can be more flexible, and we can enjoy ourselves to the full at all spots. In addition, we will learn to be more independent to deal with daily problems when traveling in other countries. I will give some reasons to support my choice.
The foremost, the greatest advantage of traveling alone is “being Free”. The schedule and the route can be changed all the time by following our inclinations. We can stay at the sight spots all day as long as we want, and experience the local customs deeply. Especially when we visit a museum, there will be enough time for us to appreciate the exhibition completely, since we have searched adequate information adequately before we set out. We will experience all new things by ourselves, and immerse in the trip completely, not just taking pictures instead.
Secondly, we can compare the expenditure and the way of consumption with traveling with a companion, and there will be some spaces to economize. We can choose the B&B to stay; therefore we not only can experience the way that the local residents live but also can spend less money; that will be interesting as well.
The last reason is that traveling alone can train us to be more courageous and independence. There may be a lot of daily problems we have to face, such as lodging, diet, and getting lost. It’s necessary for us to ask for help! And we can experience the different ways of solving problems that the different cultures have. It’s a good way for us to get used to the Culture Shock. In addition, if we are good at some foreign languages, especially English, it is the best opportunity to conversate with native speakers.
In conclusion, I think traveling alone is better than traveling with a companion. We can experience the various customs and enjoy the sights freely, and accumulate our knowledge, even then cultivate the abilities of independence. That will be a great harvest by traveling alone.

Recently, I am interested in one kind of special music from Jamaica. It is called "Reggae". When it comes to reggae, it is necessary to mention Bob Marley. He was called “the hero of the Third World”, and the first one of Jamaica entertainers step on the international stage. Midterm exam was over

The midterm exam was over, although I thought that I had almost well prepared about one week, I still felt nervous about the result. Fortunately, the situation seemed not so bad as my expectation, many subjects were 80 and upward. However, I still unsatisfied about this, because I found out that I was careless when I answered questions, it means if I was careful at that time, I could get higher grades. It’s too late to be regrettable, I have to be more careful next time.

I hate dentist to death ˋˊ

I had had a toothache recently, and I decided to see the dentist yesterday. Before having a appointment with dentist, I surfed on internet, and searched for which dental clinic is better in Yunlin, I found out that a lot of people recommend the 張森豪 dental clinic, thus, I went. However, when I arrived there, the nurse told me I have to reserve the appointment, because all the available time had been reserved utill 12/11, it is thus clear that the dentist is very professional. I thought. But for my poor tooth, I ask the nurse for another dental clinic. , and I saw the dentist, finally.

After checking my tooth, the dentist told me that I had a dental caries on my wisdom tooth, it had to be pulled out. I was shocked and the fear welled up my mind...

My mouth was no sensory after the dentist gave an injection of anaesthetic. I was badly hurt at my gum and almost cried, the dentist actually teased me: "ha-ha! It's hurt, right!?" I would have kicked him down if my gum didn't hurt like that...

Finally, my carious wisdom tooth was pulled out, my gum started to bleed like a pig, the dentist took a cotton to stopper my wound. But it was not the end of the disaster, after the anaesthetic loose its a effect gradually, my gum was badly hurt like I was going to die. Although the dentist prescribed the anodyne to me, it still badly hurt and I could help but cried. I thought I had better went to sleep early to reduce the feeling of hurt.

This morning, when I got up, I knew that I got a temperature, I don't know whether it is the side effect of the pill or not. What all I know is that I sleep all day without any eating.

Lovers are crazy~~

This afternoon, I and Smantha met a group of people, one of them told us that his friend wanted to take a picture with us. We were surprised and didn't know what's going on.

We finally knew that the boy who took picture with us has been together with his girlfreind for 200 days, and he wanted to do something touched to his girlfriend. So he decided to take 200 pictures with 200 persons and ask these 200 persons to write some words on the card to wish them. He really has given much thought to the matter. How touched he is.

But I have to say, lovers are crazy, and they always have a lot of leisure time to do something romantic, but I am curious about that, how about 300 days and 400 days and 500 days? Will he still ask 300, 400 or 500 people to take picture with him? Let's wait and see!!^^

How to arrange my money

How to arrange my money from scholarship appropriately, it's so difficult for me. I want to store it at my account, but I have to divid some parts of it to my mom, and I want to take some as the investment fund....

For too many purposes and too many people I have to consider. The days passed gradually, none of the above-mentioned are done. what I have done is took it as my living expenses...the money become less and less...

After going through a long time process, I was on the scholarship list finally. But the something worse is that, it stipulated that I had to go and got the money at the bank in Tainan personally. It seems a crazy act, but I had to do.

Everything was smooth going, but not at bank. I forgot to bring my seal! And the bank worker refused to give me the check. It means I have to come back to Tainan again next week? No~~~

At this momnet, I glanced at a seal store, I rushed there and got a seal finally. I arrived at bank in time before it closed. In the end, i got my scholarship~12,000. I was so happy!!

I love Ballroom dance, but my boyfriend doesn't.

I was on the list of dancing performace, I am very happy that I have the opportunity to perform, but he deosn't, because it means I have to spend more time on preparing my performance, but less on him, especially after midterm exam.

In addition, he is very care about "Ballroom dance", because I have to be very close with my dancing-mate, some of our motion are almost stick together. I want to explain that when we are dancing, we thought about the steps, it's impossible that we have affection to each other. I can understand the reason he feels uncomfortable and jealous, but I really don't know how to do...

My honey's birthday

My honey's birthday is coming, this is his first birthday that I accompany with him, he feel so happy.
I had prepareed his birthday presents scretly, and expected it could give him a surprise. I bought a wallet that the brand he like most as his birthday present, and reserved a special birthday cake then put it at the restaurant we planned to go. Every thing goes right and perfactly.
As my expectation, he felt touched and happy, and we had a good day. He said that it is the first time that someone prepare an wonderful birthday for him. It would become the most special day in his mind.

We had a class about cha-cha. I thought it was a easy step before today, but after I learn it, I found out it is hard to control my foot and step.

We have to clip our legs tightly and stretch our foor into a square, then sway our hipbones. It's so difficult to keep body not to fall down.

After a hard traning class, I have sour legs, sour belly, and sour back. And I have a great night to sleep.....
